1992 15h Chestnut with Flaxen Mane/Tail
Our mom is 10 months pregnant
Precious is a beautiful 15h deep body chestnut mare with flaxen mane and tail. With
some solid Brunk bloodline behind her, she is feminine, typey and correct. We are
very fortunate to be able to lease this incredible mare from our good friends Mary
Shappe and Gert Shuckhart of Majic Stable in Norman, OK.
Due to an unfortunate accident as a youngster, where she nearly lost her front left
hoof, her career as a showhorse was terminated before it ever began. She remains
pasture sound but can no longer handle the demands of riding. As a result, her legacy
shall be to pass her good traits on to future beautiful Morgans. Precious is not
only beautiful, she also possesses the calmest, sweetest demeanor of any horse we’ve
ever encountered, yet you can still see the showhorse she never was as, even in
spite of her injury, she can pick up her feet and flag her tail like a champion,
at play.

Precious Moments
Her big intelligent eyes welcome me, letting me know she is happy to see me. I know
she loves attention, but she never demands. She will follow respectfully at my shoulder,
just like a loyal Labrador, waiting for a scratch on her belly or a pet on her neck.
In the quiet of the evening, after a hard days work, I go to see her. She comes
and arches her long neck around me as we share a quiet moment and she allows me
to join in her maternal bliss for just a moment.
Now its time for dinner and she is running and playing with the boys. Watch her
kick and run. Stepping high and flagging her tail. Almost a piaffe as we approach
her feed bucket. I’m amazed she can move so beautifully and freely with what looks
like a huge balloon hanging on her sides.
I spend a few more moments just enjoying myself as I watch her eat. I say a quick
prayer of thanks for the blessing of just being able to share her spirit.
A precious moment defined.
Precious is currently in foal to the fabulous Morgan sporthorse Wintergreen Don
Diego, a winner of multiple World Championships in Dressage and Working hunter.

She was then 9 months pregnant
Precious with her son HDNDRGN Fire From The Sky. Fire was one day old.
Precious is always a good mama.
